Our gear hob cutters, available in single or multi-start configurations, are designed for finishing, pre-shaving, and pre-grinding gears and can incorporate various profile modifications like tooth tip chamfers, protuberances, topping, full radius, and tip/root relief.

INVOLUTE SPLINE HOB
Involute spline hobs are used to produce involute splines and serrations. These hobs are generally produced with pressure angles 30°, 37.5° and 45° as per various DIN and ANSI standards. These hobs can be offered with shoulder clearances in single and multi-thread designs.
SINGLE THREAD INVOLUTE HOBS
Involute Spline Hobs have straight sides teeth like a gear hob, and are usually of stub tooth depth. They are made in single or multiple thread designs, with diametral pitches ranged from 2.5/5 to 128/256 and pressure angles of 30°, 37.5°, or 45°.
SPROCKET HOBS
Sprocket hobs are designed and produced for the formation of chain sprocket tooth forms. Both topping and non-topping hobs can be offered in single and multi-thread designs as per various standards including DIN, BS, ANSI, JIS etc.
SPECIAL FORM HOBS
These hobs are offered for various special tooth forms such as timing pulleys, ratchets, chamfering ring gears, etc
WORM GEAR HOBS
We supply worm gear hobs engineered for the precise manufacturing of worm gears. Available in both shank and bore type designs, these specialized tools are crafted to accurately match the worm shaft, including sharpening allowance. Our offering includes both radial and tangential hobs, available in single and multi-start configurations
STRAIGHT KEY SPLINE HOB
Specially designed with curved tooth forms, these hobs are used to create precise straight key splines on shafts at the specified tooth depth. We can also incorporate various profile features, including lugs and semi-topping, onto these spline hobs.
SHANK HOBS
Designed for modern high-speed cutting, shank hobs are primarily utilized on CNC machines. These hobs can be supplied with extended cutting lengths and in both single and multi-thread configurations
SPECIAL DRIVE HOBS
For specialized applications, we design and manufacture special drive hobs, accommodating requirements like OD and face clamping and clutch keyways with unique hubs.
